Tim Avery, a struggling animator, lives a normal life with his wife Tonya and their dog, Otis. When Otis digs up the Mask of Loki, Tim accidentally uses it and creates chaos at a company party. Later, on the same night he wears the mask, Tonya becomes pregnant. Their son, Alvey, is born with all the mask's powers, able to alter reality, stretch his body, and cause mayhem. As Tim struggles to control his super-powered baby, the trickster god Loki arrives in the human world to reclaim his mask, leading to a final, hilarious confrontation between the Norse god and the unstoppable infant.
