Haftbefehl, whose stage name translates to "arrest warrant," is the alias of German rapper Aykut Anhan. Born in Offenbach, Hesse, to Kurdish parents, his raw, aggressive delivery and unique wordplay helped pioneer a new wave of German street rap in the early 2010s. Known for blending German with various Turkish and Kurdish dialects, his tracks are often characterized by their unapologetic and uncompromising depiction of street life. He founded his own label, Azzlackz, under which Blockplatin was released.
