The film was always intended as the first part of a franchise. Following the success of Pariah Vol. 1 , the director announced in May 2024. The sequel is expected to be both a prequel and a sequel, exploring the origin of Lubdhak’s character and introducing mythological elements (the character “Kalbhairav” is a name of Lord Shiva). Filming was planned to take place in the North‑East’s hills and forests, with a target release in 2025.
