Set in the affluent town of Little Wesley, Louisiana, the film follows Vic and Melinda Van Allen, a married couple with a young daughter. Their "picture-perfect" marriage is, in reality, a fragile facade. To avoid a divorce, they have a strange and twisted arrangement: Melinda is allowed to take lovers openly, while Vic chooses to suppress his jealousy. However, when Melinda's various lovers begin to go missing, Vic, a wealthy retired tech mogul, becomes the prime suspect. This sparks a dangerous game of cat and mouse between the couple, where nothing is as it seems, and the stakes become deadly.
