This study explores how fan translators act as cultural mediators, bridging linguistic gaps and localizing British humor and sociocultural references for a Vietnamese audience. Furthermore, it analyzes how the accessibility of Vietsub versions on streaming platforms has cultivated a distinct fan culture and broadened the appeal of Western detective fiction in Vietnam.
