The story follows Shiva (played by Arya), a man with a photographic memory and exceptional combat skills, who crosses paths with a talking teddy bear. The bear is actually possessed by the soul of a young woman named Srividya (played by Sayyeshaa), who fell into a coma due to a medical malpractice racket.
The film blended horror-comedy elements with fantasy, and Dhanush’s energetic performance, combined with D. Imman’s peppy background score, made it a decent OTT (Over-The-Top) success.
Teddy cost crores to make, specifically for the CGI animation of the bear. When you watch a pirated copy, you are taking money away from the VFX artists, actors (Dhanush), and the production house (KJR Studios).
As they navigated the dark underbelly of the toy world, Teddy realized that being small didn't mean he couldn't make a big impact. With his quick thinking, bravery, and newfound friends by his side, Teddy helped turn the tide against The Shadow and his minions.
