Most modern PC games feature a "Push-to-Talk" (PTT) system. By default, if you press your SoundPad hotkey, the sound plays, but if you aren't holding your in-game PTT key, your teammates won't hear it.

Discord is notorious for its aggressive noise suppression algorithms (like Krisp), which are designed to filter out background noises like dog barking, keyboard typing, and occasionally, your soundboard.
